The Department of Mechanical Engineering at RKIET, Bhubaneswar is continuously striving to achieve excellence in education, and academic oriented work. CENTRAL WORKSHOP

There is well ventilated and fullfledged independent workshop of sprawling area of 4000 Sqft. It consists of different sections like Carpenting, Smithy, Welding & Machinery. The Machine section has 10 centre Lathes universal milling M/C, Shapping M/C, Planner, Drilling M/C, Power saw, Tool cutter, Grinder equipments etc. The Workshop has recently produced the most advanced TIG and MIG welding M/Cs to its credit.
